This year for our after school Valentine's Day party, I wanted to make sure the kids didn't just binge eat cookies, candies, and sweets but rather were mindful about spreading a little love by having fun! Don't get me wrong the kids and their neighborhood friends still decorated cookies and had plenty of fun, but we also worked on some craft projects we could take and drop off to spread a little Valentine's love!
For this party I wanted to keep things simple, requiring less than a half hour to setup so I could be ready for the after school excitement!
So with a little planning and some help from
Elva M. Designs and Holly
@LegallyCraftyBlog I was ready to go!

CRAFT PROJECTS
For this party Holly picked out to fun and age appropriate craft project for our elementary school guests!
First the kids made Valentine's Day cards which we can now drop off at a local senior center to spread the love. This project was kept easy by using pre-made solid color cards Holly was able to purchase at Michaels, Wasabi tape, and some fun foam hearts!
Then the kids made a photo frame to keep for themselves as something to remember the day. We happened to have a Polaroid mini camera on hand so that was a fun way for them to take photos they could leave with for the day!
For more information on the craft projects including a shopping list and how-to instructions visit the Legally Crafty Blog Post here!
Parties don't need to be complex. With a few minutes of planning, a couple Valentine's party supplies and an activity to entertain the kids this party was not only a hit but a way to spread love across the community!
Parties Made Simple.
